Selecting the right material for home appliance casings involves balancing aesthetic appeal with structural durability. Manufacturers consistently turn to ABS Granules because this engineering plastic offers an exceptional combination of impact resistance, toughness, and high surface gloss. When used in air conditioning units, the material must withstand the vibration of the compressor while maintaining a pristine, white finish that does not yellow quickly under indoor lighting. The processing flow for these granules typically starts with a thorough drying phase, usually at 80 degrees Celsius for about three hours, to ensure no moisture causes silver streaks or bubbles during the injection molding cycle.

 

Beyond its physical properties, the cost-to-performance ratio makes ABS Granules highly competitive for high-volume production. Recent market data shows that the prices of styrene and acrylonitrile-the primary feedstocks-have stabilized, allowing manufacturers to maintain steady production costs for the upcoming quarters. In terms of usage, technicians must precisely calibrate the injection temperature between 210 and 240 degrees Celsius to achieve the best flow rate into complex molds. If the temperature is too low, the thin walls of the AC vents may not fill completely; if too high, the polymer could degrade, compromising the structural integrity of the final product.
